Mansions

The Mansions of Newport, were lavish and exquisitly decorated. They were very interesting to hear about how the rich live. I thought it was entertaining to pick up even the differences between the houses whose fortunes were 31-million compared to 100 or 200-million. And those who were from a working trade vs. an investment trade. I wanted to die for some of the built in cabinetry and some of the furniture, I wish I could have photographed them however photographs were not allowed within the mansions. Below are some pictures from outside to give you an idea of how beautiful not only the architecture is but also the landscape.
